Attention Drivers! There has been a major overhaul to our Express Drive program. Starting immediately, any rental that is more than 2 days past its 28 day renewal date will be suspended from the Lyft Platform. This deactivation is automated and cannot be reversed other than coming in for a renewal appointment. You can schedule your renewal in the app on your Vehicles page. Lyft HQ is sending out emails to remind drivers of their last day to renew. Note, the date in the emails you receive from Lyft is the last day you have to renew your vehicle, it is not your 28th day.
Also, the deposit to rent a vehicle has been changed from $150 to $250. Any driver who currently has a $150 deposit on file will remain at that level until you return your vehicle. Any new deposits will require $250.
